Truth. Lies. Secrets. Drama.
It’s all so stereotypical.
In a small outside of Toronto, there are two main high schools. One for the rich and elite, and the other for everyone else. Here you’re either at the top or at the bottom on social status scare. Yes we do have those who are in between, but it’s more then likely that you’re going to see one of the two extremes here. The two schools have their differences, one is dirt poor, and the other is for those who has a daddy who can pay their way through a top notch education, but they also have their similarities. In a place where kids have either money or problems coming out of their ears, problems ore going to arise. Sex, drugs, rock and roll, death. They are all possibilities.
Clicks are formed, people are singles out. Drama, life all of it happens here. The two schools generally don’t commune with one another, but you do have those who do. Your best friend may be from the opposing school, but those cases are rare. Cops are crawling all over the place, because people aren’t oblivious as to what goes on with the teens who live in this town.
The rich school. Marckett High. Those who have more money then they know what to do with come here. Sure, you have the occasional scholarship case who will pass through it’s doors, but usually it’s those with the parents who own large companies who come here. You know what they say, more money better drugs. It isn’t always the case, but the fact that they have parents who deal with them by handing them a wad of cash doesn’t help much. The hard core partiers. Or so they’d like to think.
Because you have the kids who go to District 13. That’s the only name the school was gives. The name of the district. More commonly referred to as D13. Those who go here are the polar opposite of those in Marckett. Living lower-class lives, drugs, alcohol, parties and sex tend to be their lives. They don’t know it, but when it comes to all of that, they could show up one of those rich kids any day.
Not every one is like that though. You have those who are at one of the two schools and making something of their lives. Those who actually give a crap about school. But every one has their stereotypes of the town, and they aren’t all that pretty. Everyone here is different, and everyone here has their own story to tell. A reason as to why they’re where they are. How they ended up being the person they are today. Some stroies are good, and others not so good. Either way … it’s all juts one big Dance Hall Drug.
