The smell of natural came in through Serena's nose as she was walking through the Everest Forest. It wasn't light outside yet and yet, Serena could still manger to see her away around everything. Her shoes getting a little muddy as she walked along. It was all thinks to the rain that night. "This is just what I need to clear out my head." She had said to no one inparitcal but to herself. Serena had always loved the outside and used it as a way to clear her mind out.
As she walked with the small twigs cruching underneath her feet she came upon a clearing. Just a small clearing with a few good sized rocks to set on. Serena smiled as she walked into the small clearing, and over to one of the rocks that was there. Taking her sit she looked up at the sky. She had been right on time with finding a place to watch the sun rise. "Prefect."
The lighting that fed off the sky and the trees was beauitful. It truly was. The sky was filled with pinks, purples and oranges. It seemed to make the dark night sky faded away into nothing at all. The trees where glowing agaisnt that morning sky. Getting up as early as she did was worth it alright. Just seeing the sky that morning would put her in a good mood all day.
She sat there for a good hour alone, of course in that hour there where no more panted different colors acrossed the morning sky. Just the light blue color and the fluffy white clouds that bright the sun to a stand still. It no longer stood out, it looked as if it had no life to it once the sky had stoped changing it's colors.
"Maybe I should start heading back here soon." She said as she looked down at the grass that surrounded the rock she was sitting on.

"Oh, give me a break..." Jason mumbled, frustration covering every single syllable of his words. He slammed down the stack of papers in his hands onto his desk and stood up and walked towards the door. Jason really couldn't take it anymore. How did he get into all of this at the age of 21? He was barely an adult!
Jason didn't know why he had taken the position of the Headmaster of Affintas. Something in his gut had just told him to continue his grandfather's legacy and he just...did it. He was fresh out of college and wanted to get on with his life. Being the Headmaster of an academy, a job that normally people who were much older than him took on, wasn't exactly helping him get on with his life. He struggled with every part of the job, he was stressed out and his relationship with his girlfriend was getting bad.
The hallways of Affintas Academy echoed as Jason stepped into them. A few sixth graders passed him, followed by a professor and the janitor. But Jason didn't pay attention to them. He was still trying to convince himself that taking on this job wasn't a bad idea. 'This isn't that bad,' Jason thought to himself, 'I get ok pay, I have a good apartment, everything will be fine...Plus, when has my gut ever lead me in the wrong direction?' But this convincing wasn't working so well. He still didn't understand why he had taken this job. Maybe his gut was wrong. There was a first for everything...
Jason soon found himself near the forest. The forest had been one of his favorite places on the campus. Even though there was always the risk of dangerous creatures, it was a place where he was alone, a place where he felt the wind blow against him, a perfect place to think.
The bright rays from the sun indicated that morning was coming to a close as noon made its entry. But as Jason entered the forest, the rays dimmed slightly. He could still see the sky as he walked through the woods, but mainly, he was surrounded by the trees.
Jason walked towards a clearing in the forest, which was always his favorite spot. It was the exact place that he could be alone and where he could concentrate on his thoughts. But as he neared, he spotted a figure there. As he neared closer, he saw it was a woman. Who would be out in the forest at a time like this besides him?

Serena looked back up toward the sky. She couldn't remember the last time she had done this. Watching the sun come up and enjoying the outdoors. She figured maybe last time she was in college but she didn't take the time to think about it. She was enjoying this right now.
She heard a twig snap and she turned her head to see someone standing not to far away from her. She titled her head to the side as she tryed to see who the person was. From the distance she could tell that it was a man. She just couldnt make out a face.
Serena stood up and wiped off her jeans and looked over at the man again. She walked over toward him to see if she could see who he was. "Umm..Hello?" She said as she walked toward him but stoped a little ways away.
She wasn't sure if anyone else had known about the clearing. She thought that maybe she had just found it that morning. Of course she was a teacher and other teachers or students probably knew about it she just never thought about it.
Serena looked at him and waited for him to reply back to her so she could see if she knew who it was that was there with her.

The sky was getting brighter with the incoming rays of sun from the opening as Jason watched and continued to walk closer, the leaves and sticks crunching against the soles of his shoes. The figure started coming closer to him. As she spoke, Jason thought he knew that voice was familiar. But lots of voices were familiar to him, so he wouldn't know exactly who it was...
Soon, Jason was close enough to tell who it was. It was a professor, Serena to be exact. They'd never really spoken to each other that much. The only time he could remember they had had a conversation with each other was the job interview. But still, Jason remembered her, like the other teachers in the school. After all, he was the headmaster and he should know that stuff.
"Why, hello Serena," Jason said to the woman in a friendly tone, "Didn't expect anyone but me to be in here on a day like this."
